Allah says: "Those who vex the messenger of Allah, for them there is a painful doom" [Quran 9: 61]
في حديث أنس – قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: ( لا يؤمن أحدكم حتى أكون أحب إليه من والده وولده والناس أجمعين ) البخاري - 1/9
The prophet (May Gods peace and blessings be upon him) says: "You will not be true believers until you love me more than you love your father, your son and the whole humanity.” [Al-Bukhari - 9/1]
We encourage all Muslims to be reasonable and not use violent methods. That’s exactly what media and people who try to provoke Muslims want. They want headlines about how “wild” Muslims are. Let us use all peaceful means and supplicate a lot in every prayer and ask Allah the All mighty to take revenge.
Things you can do:
1. Supplicate a lot, especially during Ramadan.
2. Act upon our beloved Prophets Sunnah.
3. Spread articles and facts about him.

The affair concerning Lars Viks pictures upsets many. Others are concerned about freedom of speech and that Muslims wants to restrict this law. The picture is in itself an insult towards Muslims and the Swedish society as well.
We Muslims wants to protest against your publication of Lars Viks humiliating picture of our Prophet Muhammad – may Gods peace and blessings be upon him. Swedish newspapers should see this as something below their dignity, to insult someone’s religious belief. Provocations of this kind supports racist forces by strengthening a feeling of “We and them”. We need mutual respect and tolerance. A secular state with freedom of speech does not necessarily mean that its people should defame what others might hold as holy. We call for moral and sympathy in Swedish media and we do not accept islamophobia or populism disguised as “art” or “dialogue about freedom of speech”.
Lars Viks piece of art is just a way of provoking and creating problems in the society. Attacking our Prophet Muhammad (May Gods peace and blessing be upon him) is attacking the very core of our belief. Islam encourages Muslims towards tolerance but we cannot control every single Muslims feelings, and this is something Lars Vik is well aware about. It seems like he wants to create a national, maybe international crisis, like the one which took place in Denmark 2006.
We Muslims feel insulted in two ways because many of us are struggling to become a part of the Swedish society and build our lives together with the Swedish people. Today it seems very simple for a single individual to tear apart what have taken years to build. Internationally Sweden is regarded as a tolerant country with a good reputation amongst most Muslims world wide. We would like to preserve this by working for common good. Muslims in Sweden regards Sweden as their home country and are concerned about its reputation just like any Swedish citizen.
We would therefore like to encourage our government, media and cultural institutions to isolate Lars Viks insulting picture which creates a situation of fear and which is an insult towards Muslims as well as the Swedish people.
